Frequently Asked Questions
Who chooses the models for the shoot?
Most people are not models. We will guide you throughout the session and help you with posing.
Can we change outfits during the shoot?
Aim for 2-4 looks. Choose clothes that you feel comfortable in but try and choose clothes that are stylish as well. Solid colours usually look better. Avoid busy patterns and large logos. Bring a few layers so it's easy to switch looks (eg a jacket).
What happens if the shoot runs over time?
If you are comfortable doing your own hair and make-up, come to the session hair and make-up ready in the style you normally would apply. If you prefer, we can organise someone to do your hair and make-up, there would be an additional cost from $100.00 depending on what you want done.
Do you provide the studio or location?
Bring props if they are part of how you are - books, instruments, tools of trade, hats, handbag, even pets (within reason!).
Can I get the unedited or RAW images?
If you have seen and liked some portrait photos, please bring a screen shot. It will help us understand what you like before we start.
How long does it take to get my final images?
Beauty Pixel hold a current Blue Card (the Queensland Government Working with Children Check). Customers under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent during the portrait session.
LOCATION
The home-based studio is located in Brighton (Brisbane).
The commercial studio location is Woolloongabba (Brisbane). Subject to change depending on availability.
Location shoots available Brisbane and surrounding areas (Moreton Bay, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast).

PAYMENT
Full payment is required before your session. A deposit of $100 is required upon booking. The balance is payable 3 days before the date of the photo session.
